As a COVID Safe business, we are committed to the health and safety of our staff and customers. We are strictly following all Queensland Government guidelines regarding the spread of COVID-19. As of December 17, 2021, at our QLD locations, we will require all customers and spectators aged 16 years and above to be fully vaccinated with a Therapeutic Good Administration (TGA) COVID-19 vaccine, in order to enter our premises or take part in a tandem skydive with us.
Rest assured, all of our crew have rolled up their sleeves in order to keep our community safe. Every Skydive Australia team member you interact with on the day of your skydive is complying with all public health orders. The team will be wearing masks and staying sanitised, which we’d like you to do too. We will provide everyone with a face covering and do require you to keep that on at all times except when you’re enjoying the thrill of freefall, of course.
When arriving at our QLD drop zones, all participants 16 and above will need to provide proof of their vaccination status. The easiest way to do this is to link your COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate into your Check In QLD app. Alternatively, you can access your COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate through the Medicare app, from your Medicare-linked MyGov account, or My Health Record. You can also use a printed copy of your COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate, your immunisation history statement, or your international COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Written confirmation of your COVID-19 vaccination status, such as a record of vaccine card, is also acceptable. Our staff are pretty savvy at jumping out of planes and we’d like to keep their focus on this, so please ensure you have your passport ready to go before arriving at the drop zone.
If you have a medical exemption that prevents you from being vaccinated against COVID-19, please present evidence of this to our staff, before your skydive.
Please note, all international travellers must show valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination in line with the Australian Government and Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration’s approved list of vaccines. Proof of full vaccination must be provided to our staff prior to travelling with us. In line with the Australian Government’s health orders, we have the right to refuse entry to participants who cannot produce a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate or who has not been vaccinated with a Australian TGA approved vaccine.
