Getting there
Scoot 10-minutes out of town and you’ll find yourself in a container of courage, otherwise known as our Byron Bay dropzone at Tyagarah Airport. For convenience, both your take-off and landing will be here. And we’ve got snacks and merch to celebrate either side of your dive!

About an hour and a half from the centre of Brisbane and less than an hour from the Gold Coast CBD, reaching Skydive Byron Bay is as easy as a dash down the Pacific Motorway. Take the Gulgan Road exit towards Mullumbimby then head to the Shell service station. Avoid the Grays Lane route as it’s no longer accessible and a little unkempt.
Spectators are always welcome, so bring your mates and share the thrill. Once done, you’re not short of things to do in Byron Bay. Take a dip in the still waters of Wategos, down cocktails at The Loft and find hippie trinkets and clothing galore at the not-to-be-missed markets. When sleep is in order, you can get as high-end as Rae’s and Victoria’s, or cheap and cheerful at Arts Factory Lodge.

Absolutely in love with my experience with Byron Bay Skydiving! 100% would recommend! The view of the ocean was unbelievably beautiful and we saw whales. My tandem instructor KP was the best at making you feel comfortable and made sure you had an amazing experience!
I was really anxious about the skydive and there were some nervous tears on the way up, but it was just an amazing thing to do and by the time we reached the ground, it was smiles all round. My tandem instructor - Benoit - was just so considerate that it helped me thoroughly enjoy the experience.
Absolutely loved it. What an experience!! My instructor was Amy and I couldn't recommend her enough. She made this jump so special. Thank you!
