By law the minimum age to tandem skydive in Australia is 12 years old. If under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must be present on the day of the jump.
While we'd absolutely love to be able to take everyone skydiving, we do have some limitations when it comes to weight. Instructors may take individuals up to 115kg, depending on the drop zone and subject to assessment and Safety Officer approval. Please contact the drop zone you are jumping at directly to find out the weight limit specific to that location. If 94kg or over, surcharges do apply.
Yes, changes are permitted up to 24 hours before the confirmed jump date. Changes within 24 hours of the jump date, will be subject to a rebooking fee of $50.
Our terms and conditions state all payments are non-refundable. However, you can change the date and/or time of your skydive up to 24 hours before the confirmed jump date. Bookings will remain valid for a period of 12 months from the original jump date. After this date, all payments will be forfeited, and no refunds will be given.
Yes! You can book for others or book in as a group. If you would like to give a tandem skydive as a gift you can purchase a gift certificate that can be sent to you.
Bookings can be made from one day before, to a maximum of six months in advance. In peak summer season one to two weeks advance notice is strongly recommended. The sooner you contact us the more chance you have of skydiving on your preferred date. Bookings for today's jumps can be made only through our booking hotline on 1300 811 038.
We recommend removing any loose items before your skydive, including dentures or false teeth. If you have any questions at all, please ask our friendly staff when you arrive at the drop zone.
YES! We have goggles that will fit over your glasses/contacts, leaving you to take in those EPIC views! However please let your instructor know if you are wearing contact lenses.
No, photos and video can be purchased under 'Extras' online, or at the drop zone on the day. Once purchased, your photos and videos will be emailed straight to your inbox on the same day as your skydive. Trust us, you will want to share this with the whole world!
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately you cannot take your own Go-Pro with you on your skydive.
Our tandem instructors actually have to obtain an additional license to be qualified to carry a camera in freefall, and in order to obtain that license, they need to:
- Do a minimum of 100 jumps.
- Complete 20 landings within 10m of the target.
- Complete 5 consecutive nominated landings with 20m of the target.
This is on top of all the other training they need to complete to become a solo skydiver and tandem instructor in the first place!
